Therapy for Anxiety
If you’re constantly overthinking, overwhelmed, in your head, or feeling like you “should be able to handle it,” anxiety might be running the show. Many women appear high-functioning on the outside while silently carrying an exhausting level of internal pressure.
I’m Krista, an LMFT in San Francisco. I help women understand their anxiety, calm their nervous system, and build more grounded and connected relationships to their bodies and emotions. In my experience, better understanding of your emotions and your body and its needs is key to reducing anxiety.
What Anxiety Can Look Like
Racing thoughts
Difficulty unwinding
Feeling constantly “on”
Sensory overwhelm
Tight chest or stomach tension
Irritability
Trouble sleeping
Perfectionism or people-pleasing
Fear of something going wrong
My Approach
I take a holistic, attachment-informed approach to anxiety. We look at both the emotional patterns and the nervous system patterns that keep anxiety activated. Together, we work on grounding, reducing overwhelm, and building more internal safety.
