Perinatal and Postpartum Support
Pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood can be overwhelming — even when you “should” feel grateful or excited. If you’re experiencing anxiety, emotional ups and downs, intrusive thoughts, identity shifts, or postpartum exhaustion and overwhelm, you’re not alone.
I’m Krista, an LMFT in San Francisco. I specialize in perinatal and postpartum mental health, supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of motherhood.
What You May Be Feeling
Postpartum anxiety
Mood swings or irritability
Worrying something bad will happen
Feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated
Difficulty bonding
Identity loss or resentment
Sleep deprivation and burnout
Shame about how hard this feels
Dread about having to take care of your baby
Guilt that this isn’t all rainbows and the best time of your life
All of this is more common than you think — and it’s treatable.
My Approach
My style is gentle, validating, and grounded in perinatal mental health training. I help you understand what’s happening physically and emotionally, process the transition to motherhood, and build the emotional support you need. I also have personal experience, I have two kids, and struggled with all of the above in my motherhood journey too. I struggled with postpartum depression and I made it to the other side, and you can too. For me, more support was key in me feeling better.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to be “okay.” You just get to be real and get the support you need.

FAQ
Is this postpartum depression or postpartum anxiety?
Many postpartum women experience anxiety, irritability, or overwhelm without realizing it’s part of the perinatal spectrum. We’ll explore your symptoms together.
Is it normal to feel this way?
Yes — far more women struggle silently than most people realize.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I provide video sessions throughout California.
I’m 12–24 months postpartum, is therapy still helpful?
Absolutely. Postpartum mental health doesn’t end at 12 weeks — many mothers seek support months or years later.
Ready for support?
