Hi, I'm Krista
I’m an LMFT who specializes in supporting women and couples navigating attachment patterns, relationship dynamics, anxiety, perinatal transitions, and burnout. My work is grounded in warmth, compassion, and a little humor, and a genuine curiosity about your inner world.
Many of my clients are women who feel pressure to hold everything together outwardly while quietly struggling inside. Others come in with their partners, seeking support in communicating more openly, repairing disconnection, or navigating major life transitions like pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood.
Wherever you are — individually or as a couple — there’s space for all of you here.
my approach
My style is relational, collaborative, and rooted in attachment theory and nervous system work. Whether we’re doing individual therapy or couples therapy, my focus is on helping you understand your patterns with compassion and clarity.
You can expect sessions that feel:
grounding
supportive
honest
gently challenging
deeply validating
We work with both the present-day dynamics and the deeper emotional roots, so you can create meaningful, lasting change.
why I work with women and couples?
I’m passionate about supporting women because so many carry an invisible emotional load — balancing career, relationships, family, caregiving, and high expectations. When I work with couples, I often help partners understand each other’s attachment styles, communication patterns, emotional needs, and the pressures they’re each carrying.
Couples therapy can be a powerful space to:
reconnect emotionally
communicate more clearly
repair old hurts
increase understanding and empathy
navigate parenthood together
feel more like a team again
I aim to create a space where both partners can be honest, supported, and heard.
who I work with

more about me and my training
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist CA #133297 and MT #64939, and I received my masters degree in 2018 in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2018. I have additional trainings in Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples with Sue Johnson, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with Polaris Insight Center, Somatic Experiencing Therapy with Peter Levine, and Holotropic Breathwork with Stan Grof.
I am a mother of two little girls, and enjoy hiking, watching movies, exploring new places, cooking healthy yet delicious meals at home, and learning how to garden in my free time. I’m married to another therapist, yes two therapists in the same household, so I get a lot of practice using all my training to say the least!

how therapy works
In our work together we will explore what is most important to you—what you most want out of this life. We will get in touch with what has gotten in the way and held you back in the past. We will reconnect you with your body and the subtle ways your body is communicating your needs and boundaries. We will work together through places where you have been stuck before with mindfulness, curiosity, and gentleness, bringing a new voice of kindness in place of a harsh inner critic, and making more aware and intentional choices. I bring presence, warmth, and compassion to our work, creating a safe space for you to look inward and discover the parts of yourself that are most wanting your attention. I am a depth psychotherapist, and practice a holistic approach, weaving together eastern philosophy with western psychology to create a unique, whole person approach to our work together. I am foremost a relational therapist, as I deeply believe in the healing power of relationships. Only through truly being seen by another can we come to truly know ourselves.
